Voting Day

The Annual School Board Election is being held this year on Tuesday April 15, 2008.

Poll sites will be open from 2pm to 9pm on election day. Be sure to vote for both the BOE election and the budget.

Sample ballots have been mailed out by the Monmouth County Clerk's Office. Review this mailing for more information.

If you do not know where your local poll site is, you can search for it by clicking here.

Voter Registration

You must be registered to vote with the New Jersey Division of Elections prior to visiting the polls. Registration must occur at least 21 days before the school board election, on Tuesday, March 25, 2008. As long as you are 18 years of age prior to the election day in April, you can still register in March and vote in April.

The registration form is available online, but it must be submitted by mail. Please click the link below to access the voter registration form.

Absentee Voter Campaign Program

For anyone that will not be in Holmdel on April 15, 2008 to cast their ballots, the Mike Collins for Board of Education campaign is running a special absentee voter drive to get out the vote.

This program is especially ideal for Holmdel residents that are away for the college semester when the election is held. Our campaign volunteers will physically mail the absentee ballot request form to non-Holmdel addresses provided to the campaign (college dormitories). The absentee ballot request form can then be submitted to the Monmouth County Board of Elections, where they will in turn mail an absentee ballot to the alternate (college) address.

Details on absentee balloting will be posted on this page at a later date.

For up-to-date campaign information, be sure to join the campaign facebook group.

Remember, your vote can make a difference. Go out to the polls on April 15, 2008. They will be open from 2PM-9PM.
